Erin Garmon, MPH, CIH
Erin Garmon, MPH, CIH, President and Chief Executive Officer holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Health (2008) and a Master of Public Health in Environmental Health Science (2010) from the University of Georgia (UGA). Erin is a Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) and maintains numerous regulatory specific accreditations.
Dan Hutto, MS, REM
Dan Hutto, MS, REM, Vice President
holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science (1979, West Virginia State University) and a Master of Science in Environmental Biology (1993, Georgia Institute of Technology) and is a Registered Environmental Manager (REM).
Staffing
PEM maintains the highest standards for training, education, and professional credentials including the following:
- Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Asbestos Hazard Emergency Response Act (AHERA) accredited Supervisors, Designers, and Inspector and Management Planners (Asbestos-Containing Material in Schools Rule; 40 CFR Part 763; Subpart E).
- Georgia Environmental Protection Division (EPD), Department of Natural Resources (DNR) Certified Firm Licensed to Perform Lead-Based Paint (LBP) activities in Georgia.
- GA EPD DNR certified Lead-Based Paint Inspectors and Risk Assessors.
- Successfully participates in the American Industrial Hygiene Association (AIHA), Industrial Hygiene Proficiency Analytical Testing (IHPAT) program and NIOSH 582 (equivalent) trained.
- OSHA 30-hour training for construction.
- OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER training.
